Get yourself to the Mozilla site and download the latest version of Firefox. If you are still using Internet Explorer you should ask yourself why you bother accessing the internet. If you’re still one of those mindless folk that still uses IE6 then you should be asking yourself why you even own a computer.

Why do I use IE6? Partly because its FTP procedure is so simple, partly because of the snobbery implicit in comments like this. I don’t mindlessly use IE6, I choose to, and while I can see how IE6 must get on the nerves of web designers, for the vast majority of us out there it makes little / no difference, and there are plenty of sheep who use Firefox simply because they think it is cooler than IE but they derive no actual benefit from doing so. IE is just fine, you know? It has security issues but so do all browsers. I do have Firefox but for my needs it is no improvement on IE. I also have Safari but the smoothing hurts my eyes.

Yes, there’s a little snobbery, but have you ever had to design and deliver a large scale web app with a nice smart front-end and have to contend with IE6 issues? You’d then understand a lot more…
Sure, there’s users that will stick by IE6. I even have visitors to some of my portfolio still using IE5.0. Sucks to be them.
Even IE7 is a bearable improvement and it’s FTP procedure is just fine, but if you want something even simpler try the command line.
